Pharmacy Technician Registration

Our certified Pharmacy Technician program prepares you to enter the Pharmacy field with confidence thanks to being trained in the classroom, and being prepared in Medical Career Academy’s clinical lab.

Our course completely prepares you to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards, the PTCB exam. Passing this exam will qualify you to be certified nationally. Numerous states are now requiring PTCB certification to work as a Pharmacy Technician.

Medical Career Academy‘s classes are conducted 2 days per week for 17 consecutive weeks, and they will teach you how to help prepare and give out prescription medication in order to assist your future employer’s pharmacist. Some of the skills learned in this class are: how to help mix medicines, count pills, measure medication, and how to label and give instructions for medicine.
